LEGO®-Based Therapy
Group Therapy or 1:1 with the therapist.
Service Description
A group-based program for children aged 5 - 17 years or 1:1 with the therapist. LEGO-Based Therapy is a fun, engaging, and evidence-based group program that supports the development of communication and social skills in a safe, child-led environment. Through shared LEGO play, children are supported to connect, collaborate, and learn alongside their peers. This approach is particularly effective for children experiencing social or communication challenges, including neurodivergent children, children with mental health concerns such as anxiety or low confidence, and those who may feel shy or find it difficult to build friendships. LEGO-Based Therapy is strengths-based and focuses on building skills such as observation, flexibility, turn-taking, problem-solving, and adaptability. Children learn to adjust how they communicate and interact with others in positive and respectful ways. Research shows that children often respond more positively to this playful, collaborative approach than to more traditional interventions. Participants are encouraged to look to one another for information and support, fostering connection, teamwork, and a sense of belonging within the group.
